Healing attachment challenged individuals has many modalities as tools in the attachment world; one of which is that of utilizing empathy. Some families find it difficult to understand that this tool can be the âmake it or break itâ modality for working with their traumatized child. Therefore, I would like to lay a foundation of experts who expose âempathy buildingâ as necessary for healing attachment issues. While somewhat dry, I felt the necessity to provide others professionals views on the matter in order to support the theory.
